Admissions Process
The Program is intended for talented and gifted students who are currently in the 8th grade (during the 2021-2022 school year).
The admissions process and studies take place at Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and Tel-Hai Academic College.
Candidates can register for one, and only one, academic institution. All admissions tests and processes will take place at the institution to which the candidate registered, as will the studies themselves.

במהלך ההרשמה המועמדים נדרשים להעלות את המסמכים הבאים:
1. גיליון ציונים/תעודה אחרונה מבית הספר (סריקה ברורה הכוללת את שם התלמיד, שם ביה"ס וחותמת ביה"ס יקלטו במערכת).
2. תלמידות ותלמידים הזכאים לתוספת זמן למבחן המיון הראשון (מבחן מדעני העתיד), נדרשים לצרף מכתב רשמי עם לוגו בית הספר עליו חתום/ה מנהל/ת בית הספר או ראש הועדה הפדגוגית הבית ספרית המאשר מתן תוספת זמן במבחנים הבית ספריים, על פי החלטת הועדה הבית ספרית, כנדרש בחוזר מנכ"ל.
3. תעודת עולה חדש/תושב חוזר - עולים חדשים שעלו החל משנת 2016, וכן תושבים חוזרים שלא למדו בישראל לפחות 4 שנות לימוד מלאות, גם אם לא רצופות (החל מכיתה א') זכאים לתוספת זמן. יש לצרף תעודה/מסמך בהם רשום שהמועמד/ת עולה/תושב חוזר כולל תאריך העליה/חזרה לארץ).

שלב ראשון:
מבחן מדעני העתיד (יערך במהלך ינואר - פברואר). לאחר סגירת ההרשמה, יישלחו זימונים מהמוסדות האקדמיים אליהם נרשמתן/ם. מבחן מדעני העתיד הוא מבחן מיון ארצי שיועבר על ידי המרכז הארצי לבחינות והערכה (מאל"ו).

תלמידות ותלמידים אשר עברו את שלב המיון הראשון יקבלו דוא"ל ובו קישור להשלמת תהליך הרישום וטופס המלצה למילוי ע"י מורה או מחנך. בנוסף, לצרף תמונה.
שלב שלישי:
מבחן אקדמי אשר יתקיים במוסד האקדמי.
שלב רביעי:
מכינת הקיץ
תלמידים שיסיימו בהצלחה את מכינת הקיץ ויעמדו בכל הדרישות האקדמיות והראיון האישי, יתקבלו לתוכנית!
שלב חמישי:
* בשל הביקוש הרב לתוכניות, ומאחר ומספר המקומות בכל מוסד אקדמי-מוגבל , יתכן ויוצע לך לקראת שלבי המיון השונים או בשלב הקבלה הסופית לתוכנית, המשך המיונים/הלימודים במוסד אקדמי אחר מזה אליו נרשמת. זאת, על פי הישגייך בשלבי המיון והמקומות הפנויים במוסדות האקדמיים המפעילים את התוכנית.
Admissions Process
First Stage:
Registration via the (Future Scientists) website.
You (the candidate) will receive an e-mail within a few days of registering, asking you to upload a photo of themselves and a school transcript.
Enter the profile section within the Program’s website and add the following documents:

A photo of yourself

Your most recent school transcript or report card (Candidacy will only be secured once a clearly scanned copy that includes the student’s name, name of school and school stamp, is received).

Documented confirmation of a learning disability diagnosis, for students requesting extra time on their first admissions test (the Future Scientists Test).
It is recommended that you prepare these documents as early as possible, so that you can add them as soon as you are promoted to by e-mail, in January.
The second stage:
The first national admissions test - the Future Scientists Test.
What will be tested?
You can download a workbook with test examples and explanations, so you can prepare for the exam.
Please read the instructions and explanations carefully, in order to come to the test as prepared as possible.

Third Stage:
A test in scientific thinking geared towards candidates who successfully passed the first admissions test - the Future Scientists Test.
Attention Arabic speakers! The third stage admissions test will only be held in Hebrew. As such, it is recommended that you take the dedicated course developed by Matach (The Center for Educational Technology), and practice your Hebrew, on your own. Click here.

Fourth Stage:
A preparatory admissions course that takes place during the summer vacation (between 8th and 9th grade), and includes fundamental studies in science fields, such as mathematics, physics, computers and chemistry, as well as social and teamwork activities.
Students who successfully complete the summer course,meet all requirements and finish all tasks will be accepted to the Odyssey Program. Studies will begin with the start of the 2022 academic year.
