Tel-Hai Academic College
The Odyssey Program at Tel-Hai Academic College includes a multidisciplinary science track.
The Program exposes its participants to a wide variety of fields of knowledge pertaining to life sciences, and includes academic courses, research laboratory experience and research projects, as well as enrichment courses, social activities and the development of personal capabilities, such as time management, teamwork, and more. In addition to the group program, the Program’s students are eligible to independently attend other academic courses, in accordance with their interest in computer science or life science, following consultation with the professional staff.
Over the summer vacation, a one week-long intensive studies week is held. It includes a product development workshop and social activities. In addition, intensive days, workshops and joint activities for all Odyssey Program participants across the country are held throughout the year, including over the holidays and during the summer.
More information about the track and its content will be provided to the students and their families during the admissions process.
Studies take place on Wednesdays from 8:45 to 17:30, throughout the Program’s duration.
Classes are scheduled in accordance with the academic calendar, while taking into account school vacation times. Additional classes are, at times, scheduled during holidays and summer vacation periods.
The Admissions Process
Registration takes place between: 17.11.19 - 19.01.20.
The first stage - The national admissions test - The Future Scientists Test will be held at the Tel-Hai Academic College on Monday, 3.2.20.
Students who successfully pass the first admissions test will be notified via e-mail, and will be invited to take part in the second stage.
The second stage - The second admissions test will be held at Tel-Hai Academic College on Tuesday, 24.3.20.
Students who successfully pass the second admissions test will be notified via e-mail, and will be invited to take part in the summer preparatory admissions course.
Third stage - A one week-long summer preparatory admissions course - Will be held at Tel-Hai Academic College from Sunday, 5.7.20, to Thursday, 9.7.20.
Students will be notified regarding their admissions(or rejection) via e-mail during the month of August.
Candidates must attend ALL stages of the admissions process!
Arabic-speaking candidates must attend the Tel-Hai Academic College’s Mechina (preparatory course). It will be held from 21.6.20 to 29.6.20.
Attention Arabic speakers! The national admissions test will be given in Arabic in addition tom in Hebrew, but the remainder of the admissions process and the Program itself will be held in Hebrew alone. As such, it is recommended that you take a dedicated course developed by Matach (The Center for Education Technology) to improve and practice your Hebrew. Click here.

The Tel-Hai Academic College provides regular and organized shuttle busses for all Program participants, to and from the college, from Karmiel, Golani Junction and Beit She’an, in accordance with the Program’s schedule. Students are responsible for traveling to and from the pick-up points on their own, and at their own expense.
