הכנס הארצי ה-14 לעבודות גמר במדעים מתקיים במכון דוידסון לחינוך מדעי הזרוע החינוכית של מכון ויצמן למדע.הכנס הארצי מפגיש תלמידים שסיימו את עבודת הגמר באירוע המתקיים במתכונת של כנס מדעי, התנסות זאת מדמה את עבודתם של חוקרים שמציגים את ממצאיהם בפני עמיתיהם בכנסים מדעיים .ותורמת רבות לתלמידים הן בפן המחקרי והן בפן האישי.
يقام المؤتمر القطري للوظائف النهائية في العلوم في معهد دافيدسون للتربية العلمية، الذراع التربوية لمعهد وايزمان للعلوم.
يجمع المؤتمر القطري الطلاب ممن أتموا وظائفهم النهائية في حدث احتفالي يقام على شكل مؤتمر علمي. تحاكي هذه التجربة عمل الباحثين الذين يعرضون استنتاجاتهم ونتائجهم لزملائهم في المؤتمرات العلمية ولها مساهمة كبيرة للجانبَين - البحثي والشخصي.
The 14th Annual National Conference for Science Research Projects was held at the Davidson Institute for Science Education, the Weizmann Institute of Science’s educational branch. The national conference brought together students who completed final research projects and exposed them to an event akin to a scientific conference, much like the conferences attended by professional scientific researchers. The format greatly contributed to the students’ enrichment, from research and personal perspectives.
במהלך הכנס העבודות מדורגות על פי אמות מידה מקצועיות ופדגוגיות העבודות הבולטות והייחודיות ביותר עלו לשלב הגמר. שלב הגמר התקיים בחודש אפריל ובו התלמידים הציגו את עבודותיהם באנגלית. אירוע הגמר החגיגי התקיים במכון ויצמן למדע ב: 18.5.2018 כ"ג באייר תשע"ח באירוע הוכרזו שלושת המקומות הראשונים.
הפרס למקום הראשון הינו מלגה להשתתפות במחנה מדענים צעירים בלונדון ביולי-אוגוסט 2018 וייקח חלק באירועי מדע, תרבות וחברה עם תלמידים מכל העולם.שני זוכים נוספים קבלו מלגת השתתפות למחנה הבינלאומי למדע ע"ש ד"ר בסי לורנסולמחנה סייטק הבינלאומי בטכניון המחנות ייערכו בקיץ 2018.
במקום הראשון זכה, מיכאל קינן מהתיכון התורני ע"ש פ' הימלפרב בירושלים, תלמיד בתוכנית אלפא באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים , זכה במלגה מלאה להשתתפות במחנה מדענים צעירים בלונדון ביולי-אוגוסט 2018 , וייקח חלק באירועי מדע, תרבות וחברה עם תלמידים מכל העולם.
במקום השני זכה, עמית שבתאי מתיכון עירוני ג' ע"ש מוטה גור במודיעין, תלמיד בתוכנית אלפא במכון ויצמן למדע, זכה במלגה להשתתפות במחנה הבינלאומי למדע ע"ש ד"ר בסי לורנס במכון דוידסון לחינוך מדעי שיתקיים בקיץ 2018.
במקום הרביעי זכתה, שרית שטרנברג מתיכון אולפנה עופרה, תלמידת תוכנית אלפא באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, זכתה שרית בציון לשבח.
Throughout the course of the conference, the projects were assessed according to professional and pedagogical standards. Standout and unique projects moved on to the final round, which was held in April, during which the students presented their work in English. The festive final event was held at the Weizmann Institute of Science on: 18.5.2018, during which first, second and third place winners were announced.
First prize was a scholarship to attend the Young Scientists Camp in London in July-August of 2018, and the opportunity to take part in science, culture and society events with students from around the world.
Two additional winners received scholarships to take part in the Dr. Bessie Lawrence International Summer Science Institute and the International Scitech Camp at the Technion in the summer of 2018.
First place was awarded to Michael Keinan of Jerusalem’s Himmelfarb Religious Boys High School, an Alpha Program student at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He won a full scholarship to attend the Young Scientists Camp in London in July-August of 2018, and the opportunity to take part in science, culture and society events with students from around the world.
Second place was awarded to Amit Shabtai of Modiin’s Motta Gur Public High School, an Alpha Program student at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. He won a scholarship to take part in the Dr. Bessie Lawrence International Summer Science Institute at the Davidson Institute for Science Education during the summer of 2018.
Fourth place was awarded to Sarit Sternberg of Ulpenat Ofra, a high school for girls in the Ofra community. Sarit is an Alpha Program student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalema and received an honorable mention.
