شغل ياروم أرياڤ منصب المدير العام لوزارة المالية لمدة 3 سنوات في الفترة ما بين 2007 و2010. وفي إطار منصبه، كان من قادة الاقتصاد الإسرائيلي خلال فترة الأزمة الاقتصادية العالمية، وكان مسؤولاً عن رسم وتنفيذ السياسة الاقتصادية للحكومة قبل وأثناء الأزمة. ترأس السيد أرياڤ اللجنة التوجيهية لانضمام إسرائيل إلى منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (OECD)، وكان شخصية مركزية في تنفيذ إصلاحات بارزة في المجالات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
قبل عمله في الحكومة، شغل ياروم أرياڤ منصب المدير العام لشركة كيميكاليم ليسرائيل (ICL) للأسمدة في أوروبا، حيث قام بدمج وإدارة جميع نشاطات الإنتاج والتسويق للشركة في أوروبا. في الفترة ما بين 1985 و1993، عمل أرياڤ في قسم الميزانيات بوزارة المالية، وكان في هذا المنصب شريكاً مركزياً في تحديد سياسة الحكومة لتشجيع البحث والتطوير، وتأسيس شركة مبادرة-يوزما التي مهدت الطريق لقطاع الهايتك الإسرائيلي، وقيادة إصلاحات في مجالات الانفتاح على الاستيراد، الطاقة، الزراعة وغيرها.
منذ انتهاء مهامه في وزارة المالية، يعمل السيد أرياڤ في المبادرة والمشاركة في مشاريع مختلفة لصالح الاقتصاد والمجتمع، وفي تقديم الاستشارات الاستراتيجية والمالية والاقتصادية لهيئات مختلفة في القطاعين العام والخاص. يشغل السيد أرياڤ حالياً منصب رئيس لجنة الاستثمار في صناديق التقاعد التابعة للوكالة اليهودية، وعضو مجلس إدارة في مؤسسة فان لير العالمية، ورئيس لجنة الاستثمار وعضو مجلس صندوق مواطني إسرائيل، ورئيس صندوق تطوير اللد، وعضو اللجنة الإدارية لجمعية لاتيت وجمعية كيشيت، ورئيس مركز علماء المستقبل. السيد أرياڤ حاصل على درجة الماجستير في الاقتصاد بامتياز من الجامعة العبرية في القدس.
Dr. Shimshon Shoshani
Founder of the Future Scientists Center
Dr. Shimshon Shoshani is one of Israel's most prominent educators and has been among those shaping its path over the last few decades. Throughout his life, Dr. Shoshani has viewed the values of equality and excellence as complementary rather than conflicting concepts, toward ensuring the realization of each student’s full potential and capability. Dr. Shoshani chose to act toward reducing the education system’s acute shortage through programs aimed at providing gifted, outstanding students in secondary education with opportunities to reach their full potential. In 2014, Dr. Shoshani established the Maimonides Fund’s Future Scientists Center for the advancement of gifted, outstanding students as a way of promoting excellence and training young people to be at the forefront of Israel's developments in the fields of scientific research, technology, economics, and security. Dr. Shoshani's rare ability to lead inspiring initiatives and systemic change has influenced hundreds of thousands of young people in Israel and the Diaspora.
Dr. Shoshani has served three tenures as Director-General of the Ministry of Education; he also served as Director-General of the Jewish Agency, and as Deputy Chairman of the Council for Higher Education. He founded and managed the Birthright Israel project, and served as a volunteer chairman and board member on dozens of public bodies with educational ties, including Chairman of the Center for Educational Technology, Chairman of the Board of Yad Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, Chairman of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, Chairman of UNESCO Israel, and more.
Dr. Shoshani was born in Israel in 1937. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA (1972-1975), an M.A. in Education from Tel Aviv University (1967-1969), and a B.A. in Literature and Bible from Bar-Ilan University (1960-1964).
د. شمشون شوشاني

يُعد الدكتور شمشون شوشاني من أبرز الشخصيات التربوية في إسرائيل، ومن بين الذين رسموا مسارها على مدى العقود الأخيرة. طوال حياته، وضع الدكتور شوشاني نصب عينيه قيم المساواة والتميز كمفاهيم متكاملة وليست متناقضة، وذلك لضمان تحقيق كامل الإمكانات والقدرات لكل طالب وطالبة. ومع مرور الوقت، قرر الدكتور شوشاني العمل على تقليص النقص الحاد في النظام التعليمي من خلال برامج تهدف إلى منح الطلاب والطالبات الموهوبين والمتميزين في التعليم فوق الابتدائي فرصاً لاستغلال إمكاناتهم. في عام 2014، أسس الدكتور شوشاني مركز علماء المستقبل لتعزيز الموهوبين والمتميزين التابع لصندوق مايمونيدس، لرفع راية التميز وتأهيل الشبيبة ليكونوا في طليعة دولة إسرائيل في مجالات البحث العلمي والتكنولوجيا والاقتصاد والأمن. لقد أثرت قدرة الدكتور شوشاني النادرة على قيادة مبادرات ملهمة وإحداث تغييرات بنيوية على مئات الآلاف من الشبيبة في إسرائيل والشتات.
شغل الدكتور شوشاني منصب مدير عام وزارة المعارف والثقافة ثلاث مرات خلال حياته، كما شغل منصب مدير عام الوكالة اليهودية، ونائب رئيس مجلس التعليم العالي، وأسس وأدار مشروع تجليت، وعمل رئيساً وعضواً في مجالس إدارة تطوعية في عشرات الهيئات العامة ذات الصلة بالتعليم، من بينها رئيس المركز للتكنولوجيا التربوية، ورئيس مجلس إدارة يد يتسحاق بن تسفي، ورئيس الجمعية لحماية الطبيعة، ورئيس اليونسكو في إسرائيل وغيرها.
ولد الدكتور شوشاني في إسرائيل عام 1937، وهو حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه (Ph.D) في الإدارة التربوية من جامعة نيويورك في بافالو، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية (1972-1975)، ودرجة الماجستير (M.A) في التربية من جامعة تل أبيب (1967-1969)، ودرجة البكالوريوس (B.A) في الأدب والتوراة من جامعة بار إيلان (1960-1964).
Yarom Ariav
Chairman of the Future Scientists Center
Yarom Ariav served for three years from 2007 to 2010 as Director General of the Ministry of Finance. In this capacity, he was one of the leaders of the Israeli economy during the global financial crisis and was responsible for outlining and implementing the government's economic policy before and during the crisis. Mr. Ariav headed the steering committee for Israel's accession to the OECD and was a central figure in implementing prominent economic and social reforms.
Prior to his government work, Yarom Ariav served as CEO of ICL Fertilizers Europe, where he merged and managed the concern's production and marketing activities in Europe. From 1985 to 1993, Ariav served in the Ministry of Finance’s Budget Department, where he was a key partner in determining government policy encouraging research and development; and establishing “Yozma,” a company which paved the way for Israeli high-tech. Mr. Ariav also led reforms in the areas of import exposure, energy, agriculture, and more.
Since completing his role at the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Ariav has been involved in initiating and participating in various projects of benefit to the economy and society, and in providing strategic, financial, and economic consulting to various entities in the public and private sectors. Currently Mr. Ariav chairs the Jewish Agency's pension funds Investment Committee, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Van Leer Group Foundation, both a council member of the Citizens of Israel Fund and its Investment Committee chairperson, Chair of the Lod Development Fund, a member of both the Latet organization’s Executive Committee and the Keshet organization, and Chair of the Center for Future Scientists. Mr. Ariav holds a master's degree in Economics with honors from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
