החינוכית של מכון ויצמן למדע. במסגרת מסלול זה השתתפו התלמידים בסדנאות להעברת מסרים יעילה והצגת דילמות מדעיות.
התלמידים בחרו דילמות מתחום המדע, חקרו ולמדו את הנושא שלהם על בוריו, ודנו בו בקבוצות. כמו כן, רכשו המשתתפים מיומנויות הדרושות להצגת הדילמות באופן יצירתי, ברור ומתומצת. בעזרת אנשי מקצוע, כל קבוצה יצרה סרטון בנושא, והתוצרים פורסמו ברשת כדי להעלות את המודעות של הציבור הרחב לדילמות מדעיות חשובות אלו ולהשלכותיהן.
لطلاب برنامج ألفا في الصف الثاني عشر في مسار إتاحة العلوم الذي تم تطويره في معهد دافيدسون لتربية العلوم، الذراع التعليمي لمعهد وايزمان للعلوم. شارك الطلاب في إطار هذا المسار في ورشات عمل لتمرير المضامين بشكل فعال وعرض معضلات علمية.
اختار الطلاب معضلات من مجال العلوم ، وبحثوا ودرسوا المواضيع بعمق وناقشوها في المجموعات. اكتسب المشاركون أيضًا المهارات اللازمة لعرض المعضلات بشكل إبداعي وواضح وموجز. أنتجت كل مجموعة، بمساعدة المحترفين، مقطع فيديو حول موضوع كل منها. نشرت الفيديوهات على الإنترنت لزيادة وعي الجمهور لهذه المعضلات العلمية الهامة وآثارها.
The “Art of the Pitch” project for 12th grade Alpha Program students in the Science Accessibility track was developed at the Davidson Institute for Science Education, The Weizmann Institute of Science’s educational branch. Within the framework of this project, the students took part in workshops that taught them how to effectively give over content and present scientific dilemmas.
The students selected dilemmas from the field of science, researched and learned their subjects in and out, and debated them in groups. In addition, the participants acquired the skills necessary for presenting dilemmas in a creative, clear and concise manner. With help from professionals, each group created a video on their subject, and the final products were posted online, in order to raise public awareness towards these important scientific topics and their ramifications.

You’re invited to watch the project created by: Orit Shachar, Kerem Shauz and Shelly Goltzman, who present three myths that are likely to change your opinion on increased internet usage.
Orphan diseases
What caused 17 million people to willingly pour a bucket of ice over their heads? What are orphan diseases? And what do the two have in common? Through the project created by: Yaron Flash, Shira Ben-Ami and Sharon Surrin, you’ll discover the answers and receive a special invitation to take part in the challenge.
Eternal life
What does it mean to live for all eternity? Would we want to live in our current world forever? What would happen to our bodies? If halting the aging process was possible, would we want to do so? How would the world look? Through the project created by: Mor Steinberg Golan and Rachel Komissrachik, claims for an against eternal life will be presented.
Folk remedies
Chicken soup, fish oil, garlic, tea and warm clothing - will they heal the illness? What are folk remedies? What are their effects? Do they work? Can folk remedies endanger us? Through the project created by: Adar Melamed, Hila Crispin and Rim Masala, we will compare traditional and alternative remedies and maybe even decide which ones to take.
Antibiotics
What are the smallest creations on the planet? Those that are so small, yet unstoppable? Are there more of them than stars in the sky? Can they only share genetic information with each other via touch? And, how can humanity cope with them? Through the project created by: Matan Yaffeh, Noa Saidel-Casing and Stav Levi, we will learn all the relevant facts
