The Future Scientists Center’s Alumni Network was established in order to serve as a professional and social framework for all of the Programs’ students and the Future Scientists Center’s teams, following the successful completion of their high school studies. The Network strives to develop the alumni into those people who will stand at the forefront of the science and technology industry and serve as the next generation to lead the State of Israel.
The Network strives to advance and integrate its alumni within tracks that best suit their needs and capabilities throughout the course of their careers, in order to fulfill their individual potential and develop their sense of belonging and cohesiveness as a top-quality group of breakthrough leaders that serves as a resource for its members. Another goal: to develop the students’ awareness and commitment to challenges faced by the State of Israel - within the academic, science, technology, security, finance and social worlds.
This Network additionally serves as a joint and up-to-date social space for all of our alumni, within which they voluntarily act in accordance with their characteristics, needs and world views. Alumni activities take place in a myriad of ways throughout the course of their lives - from the moment they complete their studies, while they serve in the IDF, during their academic studies, and throughout their professional careers, as they develop.
Alumni Network Activities
The Alumni Network is active along three central planes:
Individual - Alumni guidance is a central component of the Network’s activities, during all stages of its members’ lives. This individual guidance includes help, counseling, support, information accessibility and tool development, which together enable the personal development of each and every alumnus. In addition, alumni are eligible to receive excellence scholarships, emissary funding and the chance to take part in international conferences.
Group - Harnessing and recruiting alumni to benefit the group they belong in, and its members. These activities include “Breakfast Club” meetings with top researchers, entrepreneurs and field experts; “Behind the Scenes” sessions - visits to leading Israeli organizations and companies; and various social gatherings for networking purposes.
Social and environmental activism - Support vis-a-vis leading initiatives, exposure to challenges, networking members regarding relevant sources, and the raising of awareness towards members’ potential to influence society and the environment.
